A worried customer reached out to Crell Auto after experiencing a breakdown on their way to a planned holiday. We promptly responded to their call to assess the situation with their Mitsubishi Outlander GX3 2.32 DI. Upon opening the bonnet, we discovered a split intercooler pipe. We applied a temporary fix to the split and introduced two doses of chemical into the diesel particulate filter to clear the blockage. The error codes we found were P1498 for DPF overloading and P2454 indicating a low differential pressure sensor for the DPF/GPF. We ordered a replacement intercooler pipe, which was installed the following week. Thanks to Crell Auto, a customer's holiday was saved!
