Crell Auto's warranty policy

Services performed by Crell Auto:

Our warranty applies solely to the work performed by Crell Auto during the initial service. The warranty period does not cover any unrelated or new faults that may arise after work has been completed.

The length of your warranty period:

The warranty will continue to be effective for a period of 30, 60, 90, 120, or 150 days from the date the service is completed, if the vehicle has been maintained and utilized in accordance with the terms outlined in the agreement.

Warranty durations provided by Crell Auto:

The warranty periods available are based on the conditions and service-related information concerning the engine. If you choose to comply with our recommendations within the outlined timeframe, you may be eligible for a warranty of up to 6 months on your diesel particulate filter. Furthermore, we offer warranties of 30, 60, 90, 120, and 150 days.

Factors That Cancel the Warranty

Any actions of omission listed below will invalidate this warranty

  1. Failure to care for or misuse of the vehicle:

Failing to respond to warning signals or fault codes on the vehicle in a timely fashion will nullify the warranty. Each fault code is documented with a time stamp, and continuing to use the vehicle after a fault has been noted, especially without resolving the issue, is deemed neglectful. Furthermore, deleted fault codes will still leave a trace, and such neglect will result in the warranty being voided.

  1. Refusal of Access:

If access to the vehicle at the site of the initial service is not granted, or if the vehicle is moved to a different location without our awareness, the warranty will be considered void.

  1. Taking the Vehicle to Another Service Provider

Engaging a different repair professional to inspect, diagnose, or repair the fault without first consulting us will result in the warranty being voided. We must be granted the first chance to assess and address any issues associated with our service.

  1. Failure to Initiate Contact with Us:

You are obligated to inform us at once should any issues occur. The warranty will be nullified if we are not granted the initial opportunity to inspect and address the fault.

  1. Disregarding Recommendations for Maintenance:

Compliance with our recommendations regarding essential repairs or maintenance during the initial service is mandatory. Should this advice be neglected, resulting in further damage or complications, the warranty will be invalidated.

  1. Employment of Non-Approved Parts:

If replacement parts are necessary, Crell Auto will identify and confirm the costs with the customer before acquiring any items on their behalf. It is essential that only new and approved components are used. Utilizing or purchasing non-approved or substandard parts by the customer will result in the warranty being voided.

  1. Failure to Provide Proof of Recommended Repairs:

If we have indicated that certain repairs are essential and you do not supply proof that these repairs have been carried out by a registered or recommended technician, the warranty will be rendered invalid. Invoices should be presented on official letterhead and must contain the vehicle information, including mileage. Crell Auto is capable of offering cost-effective repair solutions for most issues.

  1. New Faults Detected After Service:

Any new faults that occur after our initial service are not included in the warranty coverage. The warranty is limited solely to the matters that were addressed during that service. Each warranty claim will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

  1. Inadequate Operation of the Vehicle.

To maintain the warranty, it is essential that the vehicle is operated in a manner that facilitates the self-cleaning process of the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF). Specifically, the vehicle should be driven at motorway speeds for at least 30 to 40 minutes with each full tank of fuel. Ignoring this requirement will lead to the warranty being invalidated.

  1. Change of Ownership:

The warranty applies solely to the individual who possessed the vehicle at the time the service was rendered. In the event of a sale or exchange of the vehicle, the warranty cannot be transferred unless a written agreement is established with us. This clause does not apply to trade customers.

Exclusions

This warranty does not cover the following:

Issues or damages caused by misuse, accidents, or negligence that are beyond our influence. Any mechanical concerns or faults that were not included in the initial service or suggested repairs. Any problems stemming from the lack of routine vehicle maintenance.

Liability Limitations

The extent of our liability under this warranty is limited to the costs related to the repair or rework of the original service provided. We do not accept responsibility for any consequential damages, loss of vehicle use, or any other expenses that exceed the direct scope of the warranty services.

How to Submit a Warranty Claim.

If you wish to file a warranty claim, it is essential to contact us immediately upon discovering a possible issue. We will conduct an inspection to evaluate if the problem is within the warranty coverage. Should we confirm the warranty's validity, we will assist you in finding an appropriate resolution.

This clause provides clear guidelines regarding the responsibilities and conditions customers must adhere to maintain their warranty, while also protecting your business from unjust claims arising from carelessness or external influences.
